I've encountered a similar contract problem, where I wasn't able to renew my contract even though I was offered more than what I requested. For my problem, I think it could either not completing all 'Optional Objectives', offering more than what's left in the budget, or a simple bug. It seems the only way to progress to the next season with your club is if you complete all the objectives. Either way we should be given the option to negotiate or accept, not be forced to move club or restart the career mode. Here's some other screenshots of others having similar problems.
It might be worth uploading a screenshot or video as it will increase the chances of this getting looked at.
Every time I look on here to see if people are having the contract problems, it seems to be more every day. Hopefully this gets picked up and looked at.
I am having the same issues . EA released a new update and it's still not fixed . I tried everything and I still cannot be able to renew my contract and it's forcing me to move to another club.
