Three in and Three out for the winter window
Brighton made early work in the winter window, completing all their deals by Dec 26th. Unless a surprise offer or a golden opportunity comes up, Brighton will be done with transfers for the season.
"We made a few deals more than expected. A few players asked to leave due to playing time and after talking with the board, team captain, and coaching staff, we felt a few signings were needed to secure Europe this season." Pochettino said before the Tottenham match. "Another winger, a defender that can play left and right back plus an attacking midfielder. All in one window! That is exactly what we needed. The scouting team did a fantastic job and the club is putting money into securing our goals. I am very excited for the rest of the season!"
Decent-sized profit made on transfers.
Will that really be to Pochettino's satisfaction, or is he a bit disappointed behind the scenes, I wonder?
I am curious about Enciso; I rather thought he was quite the prospect and that Brighton would want to keep hold of him - especially until his value rises a lot more than that.
