Seagulls new signing makes a splash
Brighton secured a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace in a tightly contested match. New signing Sekou Koita made the difference giving Brighton the double over their rivals this season.
Callum O'Hare provided an assist for Marcus Edwards, who opened the scoring in the 38th minute despite Crystal Palace controlling the first half. Eberchi Eze was forced off with an injury right before the half, his second time missing half a match against Brighton this year.

The decisive goal came late in the game, with Mahmoud Dahoud assisting Sekou Koita, who scored in the 84th minute after being on the pitch for just 22 minutes. Koita's impactful performance earned him the Man of the Match award.
