Unrealistic PreSeason Tournament locations

During my Career Mode, starting as a created team in League Two in England, with a 0.5 star rated team, I was invited to a pre season tournament where the prize money was around £400k. I was drawn against the teams of similar or slightly higher standard. Would expect to play these types of games at the smaller ground like Town Park or something like that. Instead I ended up playing against Carlisle United in a SOLD-OUT SANTIAGO BERNABEU STADIUM!!! In my Player Career Mode I was playing for Sunderland against Weirder Bremen at Molton Road. Where is the logic in the choice of venue for these games???
