Dont blame players for using a tactic that is a direct response to faulty programming. The reason u have to use 5 at back is because midfielders dont track back. And the reason midfielders dont track back is because Ea realized it would be too hard to attack then (since the AI help u so much in defense to shrink the skill-gap). Its a little bit of of midas touch. Careful what u wish for EA!
Agreed. 5atb isn’t because people are anti football, it is because the game is an absolute atrocity.
everytime I move away from 5atb or 4321, defending or attacking are just impossible. They’re our only recourse against gameplay that makes formations like a 433 or 442 unplayable.
if defending 1v1 were possible, no one would play 5atb because it’s boring. If our players knew how to make runs or come to the effing bal or find space, everyone would play an attacking formation.
If EA knew anything about football they’d make it harder for defensive formations to get the ball out of their half but they don’t. Blame EA not the community on this one.
