Bot teams
I’ve suspected for quite a while that a lot of teams I’ve played against in Ultimate Team mode were bots, but never had concrete evidence. Well, now I finally know it’s true.
I was half way through a Golazo Extravaganza Cup game this evening, I needed to deal with a family issue, so quickly put my console in sleep mode. I came back a few hours later, fired up the Xbox and for some reason the game I had been playing was paused at the 68th minute. I resumed the game, expecting a dialogue box telling me I’d lost my network connection and that I’d be returned to the main menu. To my absolute amazement the game continued. Not only that, but the opponent burst into life and continued the game, too.
I don’t know how widespread this practice is. However, I really do feel like a lot of the teams I’ve played against might well have been bots too. TBH, it makes a lot of sense: make you play against really difficult opponents (bots) so that you spend money on packs to improve your team. It would explain why pretty much every team you play against is full of prime icon cards.
