Buy redeem code how to

I want to buy EA Sports FC 24 for my son, he is 12 years of age, so his account is under my control, but when he installs the EA app, it is not possible for him to find or buy anything - so if I understand it right, I have to buy it - so that I get a redeem code for him to use?

I have already bought it for myself - using my account, but I cannot figure out how to buy it for him, so that he can play it via PC?
