Dear EA GAMES! /open letter/

DEAR EA GAMES!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS! My ISP was the problem.

SORRY!

  • Yeah they should be in sync if you have little to no delay. If you have delay the one controller will be a few seconds behind it.

If you do want to show it post the video with your connection report on the link I gave earlier. Hopefully more people will follow your lead and ea will look into it with enough examples.

I can’t remember when looking at the two controllers on the screen which is your local and which is the one connected to the sever. When I use it mine are always in sync so forget.

But yeah if you have delay the left or right controller on the screen will be a second or more behind the other one beside it showing the delay and why it’s important ea added it a few years ago so you can show delay or lack of delay depending how in sync they are with each other.

I turned on my input overlay, and it showed up delay, not a huge one, but it’s clearly delayed. Should it be equal with the offline controller ?

It seems I have a delay. I called up today my isp, to do something about that problem, so tomorrow a Vodafone worker will set up my connection again. I think if this not solves my problem the real problem is with ea games.

I can’t wait to share the results with you.

My ISP sent me a pro, who is explained my problem… it was a splitter on my cable, and that caused a bad gameplay for me. I’m really sorry. You were right, it was my isp clearly. I tried everything, but my isp scammed me last time, they said this splitter not making problems, but yeah. It was that.

    THANK YOU ALL! Let’s go!

Glad to hear you got it fixed. That’s why it’s important to run all the tests and figure out what’s going on. Connection problems can be so many issues rather it’s on your end or eas.

Hopefully more people do follow your lead and either follow up with their isp or report it to ea.

For heavens sake, its very few of us that actualy have "connection" issue. its not internett related. il write what i posted earlier in another post.

Connection issues not make the players turn slow

Connection issue dont make your players run slower

Connection issue dont make AI standing still or making fewer or more runs

Connection issue dont make the AI run into eachother and falling over

Connection issue dont make you goalkeeper save more or less goals or fumble the ball

Connection issues dont make your players take heavy touches, fumble the ball or do bad passes.

    Connection issue IS ping MS

Its the time the take for what you push on your controller to be registrated by the game to when it happens on your screen🙂

Lets say you went into a game and had 1000MS "ping"   then it would take 1 second from when you push something on you controller to when you actualy see it happend on the screen.

So yes if you go into a game and have 1000 MS then you have a problem with the connection.

If you go into a game and have 20-40 MS  and it dont drasticly change during the game , your connection is fine,

This game have plenty issues and i have experienced alot of them. Many comes from INCONSISTENT gameplay and its NOT your damn connection to blame for it..

Take the game for what it is or dont play it because EA is not gonna do ANYTHING to fix it. it has been for atleast the last 4 versions of this game.

Completely agree, no internet issues, no other games including over EA titles The Show 24, F1 23 etc no issues but EAFC24 completely and utter rubbish gameplay. Slow, lag, delay input, ping unstable, freezing… the never mind the utter rubbish passing, shooting, ignoring button input.. the list is endless. EA should be embarrassed

  • definetly my last fc or EA football...never again buying from them....y will play until the end and thats it...y am sick of these game,i cant say that this is a a game with all this bugs, delays BIG delays, ping pong ball all over the pitch....y played with some oponent and his in the lead 3:0 then sudenly my gameplay have a boost and every player feels so smoth and good and y win 3:4....we all know whats is the problem, but this is so shamefull...just imagine how that guy feels after gameplay like that .....i know 100 precent...this is last EA FOOTBALL that y will buy...
