EA FC 24 Feedback

Year after year, EA, despite being one of the highest grossing video game company of all-time, you fail to actually deliver a product on release day that is reflective of its price. People are paying a premium for your games every year, and are met with some of the most lacklustre, mundane and boring features every year. Sure, you can blame us for continuing to buy the game, but the truth is, I love football. You love football. And FIFA/EA Sports FC is the only game out there that can scratch that itch. There are no viable competitors. Therefore, through our love for the beautiful game that is football, we keep buying it. And you know that, EA. That is why you refuse to actually do some hard coding in your game and add new features/improve the game.

You are too busy milking all the 12-year old FUTwhales that spend mum and dad's money on your stupid packs, which is all that ultimately matters to you in the end. You do not care that Career Mode has not been proper innovated since the dawn of Jesus Christ, or that Pro Clubs has so much untapped potential. All that matters to you, is FUT, and the whales that keep splashing thousands upon thousands every year, only for all of their players, items, to be obsolete the following iteration of FIFA/EAFC.

I would also like to point out that, despite us paying the same amount, the level of disrespect you have continuously shown us PC players is unforgivable. Not just this year, but every other year. Do not think we have forgot about the absolute disaster of a release that was FIFA 21, FIFA 22 and FIFA 23. If you are lucky enough to even launch the game, you are most likely met with terrible FPS, choppy animations, bugged out player models, and honestly, the list is endless if I wanted it to be. Speaking of lists, I am going to provide one with all of the bugs that I encountered in my first few hours of game-play.

→ Choppy animations, frames drop and becomes an eye-sore to watch.
→ Commentary does not work on launch. There is 0 commentary.
→ Player models, the hair, bugs out when it is rainy and foggy. Becomes pixelated.
→ Can not connect to the internet (whatever this means).
→ Controllers not working properly.
→ Game keeps minimising on PC.
→ The game is not opening and launching for so many players.
→ Can not sack coaches in Career Mode, it just freezes.
→ Objectives not counting.
→ Not getting XP when completing objectives.
→ The game freezes on the EA FC logo.
→ Stuck in half-time animation.
→ Game-play stutter.
→ Overall TERRIBLE performance even on high-end hardware.
→ Anti-cheat error message.
→ Media questions still make 0 sense.
→ Same animations for media interviews and transfers.
→ Same animations for injuries, etc. 0 innovation and creativity here.
→ Menu in FUT will freeze and you have to close the game and launch it again.
→ If you navigate the menu too quickly, it messes up and goes all over your screen.

Again, like mentioned, this list could be as long as you want it to be. The point is, you are incompetent EA, and you are ESPECIALLY incompetent when it comes to creating a proper PC port. But of course, because you know we love football and we simply have no other alternatives, you can keep getting away with this. I am an idiot for playing this game and "enabling it" and I know I am, but that is not going to stop me from speaking out about the disgrace of a company you run.

If somebody had enough money to sue this company, the person would clearly win, most likely in the first round. The amount of bugs, crashes, DDA, script, cheats that are in this game for years now would be enough to take this company down, none the less asking money for the same bugs as the previous years is just straight up robbery. Yes, you could say, than why did I pay for the game? Cause I always loved Fifa, but since 17, it just went downhill, and I think we finally reached the bottom. The amount of new things they said they would bring to us was too unbeilivable, and guess we were right, they barely changed anything, other than the name of the game, the squads, and ofc the price of the game.

I’ll continue PLAYER CAREER MODE
• R1 button on ps5 doesn’t send teammates to press anymore
• when your at the game launch screen where it shows your player and the opponent player on the screen their hair is always grey
• if you select black mask when you get on the field it’s always white or just a different color in general
• player objectives not counting
• if you complete all the objectives they make you switch teams even if you did what your team asked of you
•. Sometimes when you defend the ball still morphs through your foot or leg and into the back of the net as if it wasn’t even there.
this is just a dose of what is FC24 please fix these issues my goodness we just want a better product and answers. I payed 100 usd for FC24 the least we could get is responses to issues. And I’m not talking about the usual “ we will forward it to the team “ bull crap please fix this game.

You said it all totally agree. We should be really strong together and just stop buying The game for a year. Cause if you touch there wallet they will fix it believe me. We can even try pes for a year even im not a fan but I think that will change with time and I dont hear them complain that much.

I agree that being abusive or rude is not ideal, but refusing to fix or even knowledge issues is very frustrating for consumers. After all the customer is always right!!! Every year EA steal my coins as players get stuck on the transfer page after i have won them.
A new game should not be released that still has the same bugs. Not reimbursing users is classed as theft and not accepting that there is a problem is fraudulent behavior. I live in the UK, so i would like an email/country specific correspondence address. Please can you supply this ASAP as i want to make a legal complaint. Any company that doesn't have this isn't place is failing on a number of legal fronts.

@EA_Darko If very visable and impactful bugs and gameplay / design decisions are universally panned by your customers, then I would regard a failure to address these concerns year after year as incompetent.

@EA_Darko We’ll pass this on.

Make defending stats matter. You shouldn’t be able to mark and defend well with 30 defensive awareness and 27 standing tackle. On the other end, if you have 90+ standing tackle you should AT LEAST disrupt the build up with a tackle not knock it into another attacker who can now score an easy goal.

Call more fouls on non defenders and less on defenders. I’ve gotten red cards for absolute GREAT seal offs and played entire games where players use their attackers to crash into my back full speed and spam circle with no tackles.

Improve attacking AI in accordance with their Att position attribute. I’m tired of being left high and dry in my build up against sweaty spammy players because my AI is just standing around ball watching.

Passing can be terrible and slow when it’s a simple pass and the passer is facing in the right direction. Meanwhile, you can also whip a wild through ball through 3 defenders coming off a turn half way down the pitch. Using high passing midfielders from my experience isn’t necessarily improving the quality of my passes.

Better touches on lobbed passes and more fouls on defenders crashing into you full speed and spamming tackle. It’s hard enough to really nail some of the lobbed passes I could in the last game. It’s aggravating when my controlled player has to take 3 touches before he can even do anything with the ball.

We need a tackle cool down or better mechanics to punish poor, undisciplined defenders who are taking advantage of a game that isn’t properly balanced yet.

More stamina drain on players, especially if they are constantly using their attackers in defense.

Less of the cheesy goals where players didn’t earn it, ie getting a tackle, deflection, etc and it lands at an attackers feet for an easy goal.

More consistency in what’s a foul and what isn’t.

Fix the kickoff glitch.

Tone down the trivela and finesse shot+ play styles.

Make the R1 sprinters easier to tackle than left stick dribbling but not as easy as someone holding R2.

Defense AI in the box needs to be a little better.

Boost the seal offs in certain situations.

Better goal keeping especially protecting the near post when they’re at the near post.

Increase recovery time when defenders miss slide tackles and also improve how players respond when someone is on the ground in front of them.

More accurate, faster ground/lobbed passes.
