EA FC 24 PS4 disc on PS5 crossplay

Hi all,

I own a PS5 and I want to buy the PS4 version of EA FC 24 so I can play with my friends on Xbox One.

If I buy the PS4 disc version to use in my PS5, will I still be able to crossplay with Xbox One users?

Hey @rubberduckzilla3 You can buy the game version that offers Dual Entitlement and thanks to this you can install both, PS4 and PS5 versions of the game.

The cross-play is based on your platform generation with:

PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions being able to play cross-platform

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions being able to play cross-platform

Switch will be excluded from any cross-platform play.

I have the Xbox series X, and if I install the Xbox ONE verison of the game. Can I then play with my friend who have PS4?
OR
Can I install a last-gen verson on PC to play with PS4?

@alibappan With the last-gen version of the game installed on your Xbox Series X|S, you'll be able to play against Playstation players with the same game version.

PC players can only play with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S players.

Does this apply with last-gen version installed on PS5 too? So if I have last-gen version installed on my PS5 then can I play with last-gen Xbox players?

Yes. If you are playing the PlayStation 4 version of EA SPORTS FC™ 24 you will be able to match up and play with and against other players who are also playing on that generation version of EA SPORTS FC™ 24, regardless of whether they are playing on their PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X|S.
