EA Sports Child account & Cross Platform

Hi, my son has a child account and is trying to play cross platform on his Xbox.  He can search and find his friends, but he cant add them (says please try again)?  Ive noticed his EA account isnt l...

According to EA online chat, if your child is under 13 then they cannot add friends in game. It’s crazy because as an Xbox user he can add friends, but not if they’re through the EA friend service.
