It baffles me that it is January 2024 and EA appear to have done absolutely nothing in resolving the problems this game has.
Me, my brother and my nephew all got the game for Christmas on the PC, Xbox and PS4 respectively and every one of us has had the same issues that have been described in this thread. It's just such a badly made AI system and the game treats you like pressing any button is wrong. Don't even think of hitting the soft tackle button in the penalty area as it's a penalty pretty much every time and goalkeepers "rush" out of goal at the speed of a lethargic tortoise with one leg.
How in the blue hell have they managed to completely screw up a game system that they have been making for like a decade? It's just ridiculous how bad this game is in comparison to last years.
