@jtswfc93exactly. Whatever hype there was is now nonexistent. They couldn’t even show if Lille was scanned so any optimism for Udinese, St Pauli scans has gone out the window and the stadiums are virtually pointless without scans.
The thought of waiting for a title update in 2024 for Bundesliga players scanned in 2021 is mind numbing.
Who exactly did EA scan in the 22-23 season aside from La Liga and some Serie A teams (that won’t be coming until FC 25)? At present they couldn’t even scan Chelsea who was a virtual guarantee based on the last few FIFA’s.
For La liga the lack of updates to existing scans is also shocking. Griezmann, Martinez, Zubeldia, Valverde, Gimenez and on and on…
No additional Lyon faces so Gusto and Lukeba are just randomly added 🤷♂️
Overall has to be the most half assed attempt ever.
@SambaFutbol22 To say that the stadiums are 'pointless' without scans is certainly something. Absolute nonsensical drivel.
I don't know if he had this tattoo when he was scanned at Cruz Azul, but it could be an indication of new scans, although Sporting Cristal is closed with Konami.
@grn1989 I mean it's probably not pointless to everyone but to most in the stathead community it's pretty pointless.
I won't start s career mode with Arsenal because I don't like Ben White's custom or with Villa because Carlos isn't scanned. I will never ever sign a generic player in career mode and I barely ever buy customs. Just quality scans. If a team has a scanned stadium but not players then I'd never ever use that team. So to me the stadium would be pretty pointless.
Transfer Ben white out and buy someone else. Can believe one face stops a career mode. Unreasonable comments like that this will be what EA will see and then sort of understandably think ‘well nothing pleases them so what’s the point’.
- @scfatotboyland Indeed that's why I'm always careful about what I criticize. ESpecially when it comes t ofaces as som eplayers might no tnecessaril ywan ttheir fac ein the game and if that's the case EA can't force them. It's entirely up t othe player. So lon gas the ydo their bit for their team that's generally all that matters. End of the day I jus tenjoy playin gthe game I don' tworry too muc habou tthe faces if the ycan b eput in great if not no problem. That's how I see it.
@scfatotboyland I never criticised EA for not scanning Ben White? There was obviously a reason they didn't scan him and they made a custom for once becuase they didn't scan him which is great but I can't used a team with a custom that is so poor. I also can't transfer out an important 1st team player in the first season. I'm happy to transfer out reserve players that barely play but certainly not an important player like Ben White. My point was about scanned stadiums without scanned players nothing to do with criticising EA for not scanning Ben White.
I criticise EA enough for doing a half arsed job all the time when it comes to scans. Half of La Liga scanned in a year is in no way acceptable in 2023. We should be seeing partnered leagues and teams scanned on a yearly basis. The starhead thread on the other thread was the biggest thread in there with people complaining about EA's lack of starheads for the past 10 years +. No matter what we put in here it will never change. EA won't read this thread and suddenly decide to scan more leagues and clubs. EA will always do what EA does every year. Charge full prices for a half arsed product.
