EAFC 24 starhead thread

I still believe that FC 24 is an old version of FIFA 23, given how many faces were missing.

Yeah it must be the most bizarre game yet. Why bother removing player faces for Isco, Walace, Sanabria, Massimo etc. just to add them back as they were?? 

The other thing that makes no sense is no Bundesliga players were added. They must have scanned players like Hübers, Führich, Skhiri and yet absolutely nothing…

They would need to add about 200 scans to even make this game playable. How can they add less and less scans each year and yet continue to remove starheads at an alarming rate?

La Liga scans we're s huge disappointment. No Premiership scans isn't even disappointing, it's an absolute disgrace. EA should be ashamed! Lazy, useless company that's only bothered about UT. 

In 2023 with 5 scanning rigs we should be seeing full Bundesliga, La Liga and Premiership rescans EVERY year. Partner teams should be scanned Every year and customs should be made for all the best none scanned players and best young players with high potential every year. 

We should be told when EA plan to drop updates that include new faces and the communication should include what's going to be included in the updates.

Something like:

On November 15th in title update 3 we will he adding 83 new star heads. These will include:

**list of players and what team they're from**

How hard would it be to put communication like that on their website? It would take an employee 10 minutes to do but instead we sit waiting for updates, holding off a career modes because EA never release a finished product.

At least if we knew the next update isn't going to include any players we want to use then we could crack on with career modes. Same if we knew some really good scans we're coming soon then we could hold off until those scans come. 

Spot on , I think UT should be a game on its own and let us play what the game is supposed to be a football game . I know they can make a football game because the early release was so good for a few days then I guess UT players moaned so the changed it we now have a cheating pile of rubbish that don't resemble football , and if any devs are reading these posts explain how it resembles football .regarding faces just get the people who do the mods do the faces sell them as team packs say "2 or £3 a team .

La Liga scans have been awful overall. They couldn’t even update players like Griezmann, Valverde, Gimenez, Iñigo Martinez, Zubeldia, Isco

I’m most disappointed that none of the held back Bundesliga scans have been added. At least some of the following would have been scanned.

Skhiri

Martel

Moriba

Van De Ven

Pongracic

Führich

Sildillia

Atubolu

Stiller

Hübers

Skov

Thielmann

Palacios

Dahmen

Bauer

+ Most teams only have 1 scanned GK.  

Freiburg - Atubolu generic

Augsburg - Dahmen generic

Mönchengladbach - Sippel/Olschowsky generic 

Same applies for La Liga. The only young keeper scanned was the 63 rated Real Madrid keeper. Not a single player under 21 or under with under 70 over all scanned in the La Liga scanning sessions. Why are the young players no being scanned? What good is scanning players 33/34 years old when they will rapidly decline in career mode and retire? We needed some of the young players to be scanned so that we can eventually replace the older players with some younger ones.

Don't even get me started on removed starheads. Mbete the young CB from Man City was a go to signing in nearly every one of my career modes last year and this year he's removed? What a joke. Other great scans like Jason Denayer are generic. EA are a joke of a company! They don't take the game seriously

If that's the case then it's fantastic news. This means we should expect to see all new players scanned. I'm hoping this is also the case with Luton and Sheff Utd. 

Would love it if they've scanned some premiership teams around July, August, September time too. I won't hold my breath but if Chelsea, Spurs, West Ham, Newcastle etc came in later updates then that would be amazing!

If they visited England to scan the promoted team, I sincerely hope EA paid a visit to all the other teams they have neglected since Covid, particularly Tottenham. Half their squad is missing in the game, 10 players who have featured in the match day squad this season with generic faces.

i appreciate that Udogie and Vicario likely have faces but they aren’t in game yet, so as far as I’m concerned they’re still missing.

Spurs are one of my top choices too. They have some great young players and a very exciting manager.

My top career modes would be:

Chelsea, Spurs and Newcastle 

I just hope they all get added in future updates

Few twitter rumours reckon an update will drop today. Not sure if any player faces will be in it though.

You can't expect anything from EA. Sometimes they surprise you, but they always disappoint.

When did they added last year scans? December or later.

I can't recall correctly, but there was a solid update on 10/28/22 - for FIFA 23.  Added a whole bunch of players, but only one with a real face.  Also, it updated a bunch of players as well.  I hope they follow suit soon with EAFC since both were released around the same time.

I hope they do it earlier this year.  I just looked at that update and 124 players were updated with real faces at that time per sofifa.  I hope for the same 🙂

They need to sort out the removed starheads first. Absolute joke. Some really good scans like Jason Denayer are generic. Some really good young player scans like Rak Sakyi and Mbete removed. Epic young CB starhead of Simeu is completely F**ked. Looks like his starhead is glitched. Half generic and half starhead. What a mess they made out of some of my favourite starheads! Last season all my RTG career modes had Mbete and Simeu as my CB pairing. Disgraceful that they we're both added last year and now gone this year. I hate EA!

I never understood why if they once scan a player would they remove him? I understand updating players,  but removing their real faces I don't.  I also remember back in the day where you could import a face (like if you want to be your own manager etc) of yourself.  That was pretty cool...
