Experiencing the heaviest of gameplay tonight

It was bad yesterday and it's worse tonight. I don't know what it is but i cant move my players in any type of responsive and intuitive way. When attacking i can't dribble, players seem to always take an extra touch (or two) more than usual before performing a dribble, pass or whatever action you're trying to do.

When defending it feels like your players are on skates and oversteer like mad. If you've played GTA 5 the feeling can be compared to going from driving a lambo to a garbage truck. You find yourself pressing the thumbstick harder to either side as if it's gonna help with the weight.

Seriously, i've actually enjoyed this game. The content has been good, loved the EVOs and also enjoyed actually playing matches. On rare occasions i have responsive and smooth gameplay. Most often it's heavy and tonight it's just wow..

Would love some clarity as to what causes this as nothing changes from my end but the experience varies so wildly.
