FC 24 - Offside is Broken

Question

Obviously the game is poorly created.A random defender each game running 30 to 40 yards backward and leaving runners on side constantly.&nbsp;There are some who believe this is triggered by the direct passing tactic. Regardless, it is clearly a massive bug in the game.&nbsp;We know EA will never fix it because they only care about money but has anyone found a way around this because even pulling the offside trap is broken because none of your midfielders track their runs. Is the only solution to just quit playing the game because it's not as realistic as they claim?

@EA_LeonSK What they are saying is that on transition his defence do not hold a defensive line because an ai controlled defender decides to go on a wander towards their own goal without any user input playing attackers making runs onside regardless of how hard you try to keep a solid line.

This does happen often.

@AirGare2109&nbsp;"Lovely ball over the top"...Yeah over the top of all my defenders to an attacker for him to score the winning goal in the 90th minute wtf???? I wish I recorded the last game I played because I couldn't believe it. As soon as I saw the ball being played I decided not to chase the attacker thinking it's gonna be ruled offside.

In order to check it and report it to our Team, please share a video clip about the situation you described in your post. I believe you must select the defender and run back to follow the striker, but we need a video to confirm that.

Your forum does not allow for video upload of any notable size. You knew that. So I have attached screenshots.

This is not a knowledge issue on how to control players.

This is broken defensive logic that other online forums show this has been a problem for 6 years.

The defensive line in question is in white. They are all 90+ overall and they have 95+ defensive stats/ratings. You can see clearly in the final shot that they have completely lost all concept of proper defensive shape.

The most unacceptable part of this is that no professional center back/defender would drop off 30-40 yards to keep a runner onside, let alone the defender not even in the same zone as the attacker. Even a "50" overall rated professional defender would catch this error after 5-10 yards of tracking. They would never drop so incredibly deep and leave the back line in shambles like this.

This needs to be fixed. It is a massive problem in a game claiming to be realistic.
