Fifa playerbase

Am i the only one who have hated fifa gameplay since fifa 19? Like ever since fifa 19 core mechanics have been so bad its insane, and i dont understand that there is a playerbase for these games. Left stick dibbling is nerfed by the the defensive ai, player physics have been nerfed, so there is no strength behind players anymore. Everyone has the same body weight like they are made out of air. Nothing separates players anymore, and things like height, agility and ageession decide the outcome of almost every challenge instead of body strength. Ball physics are horrible. Like player physics there is no weight behind the ball, and it feels like hitting a beach ball.
Basically fundamental physics of football have been taken out and changed. 
Honestly i just dont understand how mechanics like this can have such a huge player base. There is no skill gap anymore and the game certainly has nothing to do with football anymore.. 

The last time gameplay was good was Fifa 18.
