Gameplay is too repetitive

Possession, switch wings, run down the side, cutback score. Possession, run down the side, switch wings, cutback score. 

Every game is the same. Boring, monotonous, crap gameplay. Cutbacks are the meta, which makes this game unbearable to play. I'm sick of having to defend the same kind of tactics for 13 games in a row. This isn't football, there's no individuality to it, people don't take risks they just rinse and repeat what is said in the first paragraph. 

I won't play this game competitively, I value my mental state too much. Where's the fun in this game? It's just a grind out sweat fest, if you're a gameplay dev reading this, do something to shake it up. Gameplay is DEAD.
