Goalkeeper long balls

Didn't anyone noticed that the goalkeeper long balls (volley kick) are far too short? In real football these usually are 50-60 meters long, hopefully getting the ball behind the defense line, but in the game they don't even go past the center of the pitch. Not even at maximum power. Is there a specific button combination to achieve that?

Also AI goalkeeper distribution is very poor. Distribution with the hand go faster than shots on goal, and 90% of the time they just decide to kick the ball to the midfielder who is just 20 meters away.

    @Piccolo_Demigais I find it frustrating that the AI or my online opponent GK can throw the ball further to their teammate than my player can physically pass the ball with their feet. Game literally makes no sense whatsoever & if I had to make an exhaustive list of every single bug/glitch/error I’ve witnessed for myself or watching friends play, then it would be about 400 pages long & then some.

    The bug thread does not let me post. I hope this get fixed, otherwise a can't kick the ball long with the keeper.

    Yeah, talking with friends they told me just the same. Apparenty most off people throw the ball wih the hands (which by the way the power of some of this throwings is WAAAAY OFF, sometimes are even more poweful than powerful shots and the receiver control it regardless).

    But it is unacceptable that such a basic action cannot be performed in 2024. It is like shooting with the left foot is not working and saying... "oh well, I tend to use my right foot so there is no problem". Still, the possibility of doing such a basic action should be there and work, right?

    @Piccolo_Demigais Agreed - I think the shooting is off kilter too. I can be facing the goal or running towards it at an angle using a players preferred foot then either try & shoot normal or do a finesse (if they have it) or outside of the boot shot & it sometimes goes nowhere near the goal. Genuinely think they (EA) make this **** up as they go along.
