How to DEFEND in EAFC24. Less is More

Basically, the best way to defend in EAFC24 is to NOT DEFEND WITH YOUR BACK LINE!!!!!!!!!!!! But don't take my word for it. Look at some Tutorials from some PRO players.

This is the absolute WORST way to DEFEND in any Football game. Constantly switch to a MIDFIELD player. Hold Teammate contain. Hope the opponent makes a mistake. Rinse. Repeat. What is the point of using players like Saliba, Marquinos, Rudiger, Van Dijk, etc if the best option is to NOT play as them as much as possible ?? 

This is caused by an OVERPOWERED attacking system and very weak defending mechanisms in the Gameplay. EA need to make SEMI ASSISTED the standard for everything. The passes zip like its ping pong on the pitch. There is no error for aiming a bad pass/shot. Or errors for weighing a pass/shot. 

It is UNBALANCED.
