New type of shot added in update 13th Feb 2024

After todays update, there seems to have been added a new type of shot. This shot is classed under "normal shot" in the match facts, but does not function anywhere close to a regular straight shot.

This shot is difficult to describe, but the best description would be to call it a "semi chipped shot" or a bouncy shot.

This is because the path the ball takes is very vertical at first, then dipping rapidly. (Yet much less than a regular chip shot)

This shot seems to be performed by the AI in career mode, particularly when the GK is closing the attacker down and making themselves big. This shot then just goes right over their head.

5/5 shots I have faced of this type have gone in, despite the goalkeeper being in an excellent position to stop any other kind of shot.

I don't yet know if its possible for the player to perform this kind of shot, as my regular shots go in a straight path like usual.

Anyways, first impression of this mechanic/bug is that it looks very unnatural both in the way the player hits it (animation doesn't quite match the resulting shot. Both in the swingback looking like its going to be smashed, and the ball seemingly coming off the shin and not foot sometimes) and the balls flight path being awkward and unrealistic.

It also seems to be a little to powerful, as it allows the AI to score from otherwise difficult positions. (IE player being to close to the goal for a regular chip shot, not enough time for the ball to drop, and the player being too close to the gk to get it past them.)
