@Cam3131 Exactly. It’s obvious a lot of time went into making the players think for themselves, and perform optimally off the ball. The problem is, this essentially means that your team is incapable of mistakes when you’re not controlling them. What I’ve seen in nearly every match is the opponent switching themself off the player who’s actively defending me, and as a result, they AI performs a perfect tackle. Funny enough, the only times I find success on the attack is when I dribble or spill past someone who’s actively using the defender. This allows for human mistake.
The AI defending desperately needs to be nerfed significantly. I only score lucky goals that bounce their way through defenders. The vast majority of my passes are AI cut out, and whenever I’m near the opponents box it’s an auto tackle. It takes a lot of enjoyment out of the game, and I expect more from a next gen game playing at 12ping.
