Passing Is Terrible/Players Are Slow

Question

Had this game for over 2 weeks now &amp; I couldn’t tell you the difference between a 58 rated Bronze player running or my 91 rated Haaland. The players are so slow &amp; when defending it always looks like my players need a jump start before the run. Passing is erratic - I struggle passing 5 feet in front of me but the AI or online opponents pass the ball with no issues. There’s also a delay from my button press to the actual action being carried out (for example when I press the pass button there’s a second or so delay in my player passing!) I’ve asked EA directly &amp; no answer from them - same issues as FIFA 22/23 so what’s the problem? I play on PS5 &amp; have tried all the suggestions. EA even said it was my internet but no other game has the same issues!

I definitely have delayed input while trying to do skill moves among other things sad they put the issue off on it being a (you) problem.

Jay, it’s frustrating. I’ve played FIFA since the very first edition (yes I’m THAT old!) but it seems like the last 4/5 editions of the game, EA don’t really care/focus on general gameplay. I remember when the majority of people had Rare Golds in their team (maybe 1/2 TOTW) all the way up until Christmas but now there’s just too many promos that dilute the enjoyment/pull of the game. For instance, this time last year Alexander-Arnold was around 80-100k for an 86 rated Rare Gold player - now you can get him for between 15-20k. That’s because EA would rather put in numerous 84 rated promo cards that people would spend 20k&gt; on so it’s simply a case of PTW. I’m still waiting on a response from Qs I asked them last year! If they could sort out the basic game mechanics then I’m sure we would all be pretty happy!

@RoMe_RTG Hopefully they respond although I’m still waiting on answers to various Qs on IG/X etc so I won’t hold my breath. Seems like there’s so many people experiencing the same issue. So glad I’m not doing WL this weekend as I think if I had someone use that current glitch (ball can be stuck to your players heel so you literally walk the ball into the net) I think I’d lose my rag big time!
