Playing EAFC in two different houses

My son Oliver, wants to buy EAFC for the PlayStation 4.

He has two consoles. One at his mother’s house and one at his father’s house. Both consoles are on the same PlayStation network and PlayStation plus accounts.

Oliver likes to play ultimate team type of games and I want to know how we can maintain Olivers team when he is moving between the two households.

Does he need to physically carry the game disc between houses?

Ideally, we would be able to buy the digital edition of the game and his game progress and teams would be automatically synchronised between the two devices at his two houses.

Can you please confirm if this will be possible or what we need to do to ensure continuity of his game between the two different households.

Many thanks in advance for your help, Matt

  • Hey @Goalgamer125,

You already have the best possible way in mind!

If your son gets the digital version of EA SPORTS FC™ 24 he can then play from both places without any issues.
All Ultimate Team progress will be saved online on his account, as long as he uses the same account on both consoles he will have full access to his progress no matter which console he uses 🙂

Other progresses such as Career Mode or Clubs are locally saved, so that might be a bit more tricky, but Ultimate Team should be no problem.
One advice I can give is to make sure, that if he switches locations that he makes sure to properly log out of his Ultimate Team to go back to the main menus and then turning off the console, as turning off the console while still being signed in to Ultimate Team™ might cause issues when trying to log in from another device.

If there are any more questions regarding this, please let us know and we are happy to provide you with more guidance on this matter, but buying the game digitally will be the best option here 👍

  • @EA_rephii Thank you so much for the speedy reply!

We have had a nightmare with FIFA23 because my son has to remember to carry his disc from house to house, so this solution would be ideal.

    Many thanks, Matt
