Playing with friends from different regions

Hello, Me and my friends are deciding to buy FC24 but we live in different regions (I'm in North America, while they are in Europe). Is it possible for us to play with or against each other in FC24? (Bad ping is okay) Or are we limited to playing with players on our regions alone?
