PS5 crashing after 20 mins
Over the last few days (around 4) i can only keep the game open for around 20 mins until it freezes and crashes and takes me to the PS home screen, this can be when playing a game, navigating the men...

Community ManagerFirst, try booting in Safe Mode and choose Option 5, Rebuild Database:

It is possible your PS5 is overheating.
Clean the vents, fan blades and also the heatsinks (parts that you can get to) with a can of compressed air held vertically.
Check the PS5 documentation for info on using a vacuum on the specific holes in the console body.

Thanks, Ive done the first bit already to no success, I will certainly look at cleaning the fans and report back
An update on this, thoughly cleaned my PS5 and monitored the temps, issue still seems to remain, did only occur during gameplay rather than in the menus

Can I get some more help with this please? Ive paid for a game I cannot simply play
I've had the same issue today during games. It's lost me several thousand points in squad battles.
When playing it suddenly stops and says 'the servers can't access my request' or something along those lines. Then when I go back on then match has gone down as a 3-0 loss. Not acceptable when we've paid for these games and are being done out of achievements and progression!
