Re: Clear and Overcast

Hey @Skouprinio have you tried calibrating your TV or monitor to ensure that it is set correctly?

My TV settings are fine. The colors and brightness are ok when the matches take place at night time or overcast weather. But in the stadiums shadow the game retreats to PS3 graphics.

Could you at least permit the changing of the time of matches while in career mode so they can be set at night?

Look at this screenshot. The game is unplayable In the shadow of the stadium,.you can't tell which team is which, nevermind the players.

@EA_Darko This happens in certain stadiums; Bernabeu there's a dark shadow covering the left side goal. Old Trafford there's a dark shadow covering the bottom touchline, Crown Lane there's a horrible shadow running across the middle of the pitch (That's a generic stadium so whoever thought to put that shadow there needs their head read). Nothing wrong with the monitor settings. Image is Crown Lane, looks a lot darker on my 4K gaming monitor.

Hey @Skouprinio can you take a screenshot in-game using the console tools to do so as it is hard to see the image you shared due to it being low quality and compressed.

Hey @MikeBru2102 try lowering contrast, in-game and on your TV to see if it helps.

I shouldn't have to pause my game to lower the contrast on my TV whenever I encounter this problem. You can't expect people to waste one of their three pauses, when they find out that they are playing in a stadium with a shadow just so they can adjust the contrast.

The contrast is fine most of the time, only on stadiums where there's bright sunshine and a stupid shadow hanging over key elements of the pitch.

It's one of those things to try @MikeBru2102 to see if it improves the issue.

I tested earlier on a number of the pitches mentioned that people see this issue and wasn't seeing it. Hence why I was suggesting that you try making a few changes to see if it helps in any way.

My point is, the game should be playable out of the box, we shouldn't have to pause the game and tweak our monitors on matches where there is a shadow. Remove the shadows on these stadiums is the best solution. I'm not doubting that adjusting the contrast it will improve the issue, but the contrast would look horrible on the rest of the stadiums

We don't know that it is the issue @MikeBru2102.

Troubleshooting and testing a few things will help us get more info.

@EA_Darko Yeah it works, but when I play in stadiums without the shadow, the contrast is horrible
