The game has now been uninstalled, re-downloaded and installed.
First squad battle game attempted and I was chucked out of the game after approx. 20-25 minutes with it stating that I've lost my online connection, and it's just done it again whilst sitting idle in the main menu!
It's becoming impossible to play! played 2 maybe 3 games today successfully but been chucked out of approx. 10 split across Rivals ands squad battles!
Any further advice?

My connection has been perfectly ok up until the last week, I have done 3 speed tests today on my main PS5 console all with 850mb + download speeds. I have powered down my broadband router yesterday and that made no difference and as I've said I have no other issues with connectivity via broadband on anything else in my property.
I have Ring devices, door bell and cameras all of which are ok, Laptop which again is ok, Sky Glass/Stream which is all good, even Call of Duty played on the same PS5 and the other 2 consoles within the property are not having this issue, it seems to be just connectivity to Ultimate Team that is the issue here.

Bandwidth issues for example when running numerous connections can cause issue.

Well I'm no expert but I hear that others are having similar issues too!
I just want to be able to start and finish a game that would be nice as right now that can't or doesn't happen as I just keep being disconnected from the EA Servers either mid game, end of game or when just idle in main menu!
Like I've stated this was all ok a week ago, nothing has changed my end, nothing new and everything else is working as expected it's all very strange if you ask me!
Tried Fifa23 earlier and had exactly the same issue stating that I'd lost connection to the EA Servers yet any other game keeps the connection.
I have pre-ordered FC25 however, if this is what is going to happen what's the point, I my as well request a refund!
Can you advise of anything else I can try in order to resolve this

Right now I cannot even connect to the EA Servers as get message saying that the "EA Servers are unavailable right now. Please try again later" been like this for 10 minutes now!

Trying the game here and not seeing issues with connecting.

Hey man, dont panic or worry you are not alone..
the latest update last week on Xbox by Microsoft is bugged so the problem is not on your side.
I have the same problems... i got panic and factory reset my xbox and everything but still can't connect to EA servers until I found this:
DO NOT factory reset your Xbox : r/xbox (reddit.com)
So you just have to wait :/
yea probably but they still need to fix the issue, doesn't help if you buy the new game it will still be the same problem if they not fix the bugg in the latest update or send a new update to all devices.

I think the workaround is to check if its works with ethernet cable and not WiFi.
other than that, we need to wait ☹️ ☹️
