I think it’s to fast. Would be nice if offense was manual. You can whip cross field passes with to much accuracy. The game is to much about pace. Need to slow it down make it more realistic and make people use manual offense at least online.
Ps5. I usually play fut and it’s all about pace and ping pong passing. The most common examples are 4321 use one back on stay back whip a perfect pass cross field that is almost never intercepted then pace down the wing past all the defenders. Then do a driven pass across goal for easy tap in. That or do a cross and rather than head it in because heading is manual pass the cross to another striker for a tap in.
I play against the ai only… and it’s really sluggish and slow. I’m wondering if the different versions of the game are using the same gameplay sliders and updates, or if the difference lies in game mode. Either way, everyone seems to be unhappy with the gameplay mechanics.
Part of the problem seems to rest with the antiquated engine they use, and another part with the dev team who doesn’t have the goal of making the best playing football game they can make.
To be fair fut is using everyone close to 99. You will see very few players under 90 pace being used. But that’s probably what makes it hard for ea everyone wants different things. I’ve seen some who like arcade gameplay and want offense to be better than defense. To me I have very few games that end 0-0 and would like to see offense be manual. So I dunno how ea can make both views happy.
