This is a good idea. Hopefully this section becomes more active.

Who’s who on here after the move? So many different usernames so I’m not sure who everyone is now. I was Alastair the mod in the old forums, now I’m a ‘Champion’. Some of you will be delighted to know that means I can’t ban you any more 😂

I'm a newbie here, so looking forward to see how this new site develops. Wasn't really on the old one. Thought I'd give it a go on this one.

@LFC-Wala Good to see some new faces joining as well then. Suspect the forum won't be as busy as normal initially. It'll pick up more once the game launches and then again after the forum feature update that's planned.

Thanks mate @Alastairhufc Yeah I think once the game is out, there should be a flurry hopefully. Looking forward to the football season up ahead.

Opinions on the non penalty yesterday for United? Officials are suspended next week already.

Typical call going towards them at OT is no surprise. Refs were poor and deserved to be suspended. Thought it was a stonewaller myself.

Also De Bruyne out for 4 months. Ouch going to be a miss. But I think offensively City still have enough to cope.

Chelsea also close to signing Lavia and Olise.  Surely FFP needs to look into the spending? I know they've sold well. But still alot of spending going on without Europe.

@LFC-Wala I cannot remember the exact details but Simon Jordon recently explained how Chelsea are getting away with all the spending. It's a combination of the money the new owners put into the club at the start and the money they have earned in sales. They had just over £100m left to spend after Caicedo I think.

Just over £100M - yet they over £200M spend 😂 with Lavia at £53, Olise at £35M and another Brazilian (?) Winger for £17M if confirmed. Crazy

Maddison looks to be a great buy for Spurs. Started really well for them.

  • What do people think of Maguire getting into the England Squad again? Think its a poor decision by Southgate, not played a minute this season but still getting picked.

Just goes to show, Southgate has players he will never drop.

@Stlducks4It has also something to do with the contract years of which they sign the player. So its split in many years. Smart business men though.
