Re: Should I skip this years FC 24 with 38ms online games ?

@I10NTA

38ms is more than playable. That's roughly the amount of ping I get for 95% of games with the other 5% being higher. Been that way for years, although I did get 10-15ms regularly a few years ago.

Something changed network side, because my setup hadn't at all.

It would be great getting lower pings, but pings that low are going to be almost unnoticeable and shouldn't be effecting your game much if at all.

    I am usually around 20ms with no issues, but I was getting really bad lag the other day in rivals and stopped playing even when it was showing I had a great connection.  I am not sure what is going on because this is generally not an issue for me.

  • If EA bothers to give you a reply, in these cases they always say that it’s your connection that is bad, even though it only affects this game and no other game you are playing online.

    In my experience it’s a lag lottery, somehow related to the connection to the EA servers. Within the same session I can have great input response one match and then a one second input delay the following match.

    This has been the case since 2017.
