You can change the settings so that you aren't matched with international teams. I was sick of playing against France all the time so I changed the settings.

I use Liverpool because that's the team I have always supported and 9 games out of 10 I am playing against Real Madrid, it's an absolute joke. It's so boring playing against the same team nearly every game. There should be a limit on how many times you can play against the same team in one season. I know with most people choosing to use them that would mean a longer wait for matches, but if they did an announcement or something in the game about it then I am sure people would be more inclined to choose a different team if it means they are going to actually get to play.

Real Madrid can be beaten if the opponent is not as good as you, so matching against teams that have a higher star level, while it does help a little, it's not the main factor. I have been beaten by teams with a lower star level quite a few times. I think the matchmaking should be more skill level based. Like you said, with Mbappe joining them, everyone will be using them next season. They might as well change online seasons to Vs Real Madrid.

Also, I am in division 6, I don't mind being in division 6, I am not a great player. I have found that I am being matched against opponents in divisions 2,3,4. It's disheartening coming up against players in higher divisions, especially when I need a win to stay in the division or to get promoted. If there's no players in my division available then I would quite happily wait until one becomes available

On a plus note, at least next season we probably won't have to face PSG lol
