Re: Will team introductions return?

Apparently, in the last gen version of the game, the intro with the formations is still there. This seems to be a "next-gen" problem only.

Absolutely agree with that. If it's a feature, not a bug, just go to the hell. That was the funniest part of the game for the offline gamers (who also spend money to buy the game). I know that zombie online gamers never watched it but c'mon EA. This is the stupidest, dumbest, most annoying innovation you could come up with. I'm just asking why?!?

I really hope they do something about this. I’ve seen so much negative feedback on this that someone HAS to have seen the complaints. I really hope they don’t overlook the career mode community because I think most of us want this back!

this actually happened in an update for fifa 23 aswell they took it out and it ruined the game for me, after a few weeks they put it back but it still doesnt make any sense.

ON NEXT GEN We want prematch lineup intro back in the game with the first patch! Now there is no handshakes, starting 11 cutscene, walkout etc... we have only a 3-5sec cutscene about the match we didnt even played yet, and a look around the stadium. OLD GEN HAS the prematch intro feature. NEXT GEN DOES NOT HAVE. IT RUINS THE WHOLE TV BROADCAST MATCHDAY EXPERIENCE. just a 3 sec quick cutscene and jump into action kickoff. FIX IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I was about to step back from my preorder.

Of all the stupid things EA does in this game, this is the biggest one, how do you remove entry to the field and show the lineups in a FOOTBALL GAME?

I have this too on ps5. It makes 0 sense. Especially on career mode you can choose your stadium entry music. Ea. Please go back to how it was. You're trying to make this realistic but every game in world football runs through the teams first

Is the early access version the full version or will more animations be added when the full version is released? 

This is particularly annoying in Champions League/Europa League games as if you play with a team that has an anthem e.g. Liverpool/West Ham etc, it plays that over the shortened intro rather than the Competition theme.

Still no such response from EA. We want prematch line up and anthem asap.

Absolutely ridiculous - sucks the life out of the game and makes a lot of it feel repetitive and meaningless. What are they doing? The atmosphere build up was one of the best things about it.

Another way of pushing those ‘few’ career mode lovers onto the money making scam of ultimate team.

It is really horrible.In previous FIFA games they added a lot of club anthems and atmoshphere in match intro was fantastic.Also I used to take a look which players are on the bench of my opponent....wtf happen now?!?!?!

It truly is a disappointment.  If people wanted to skip the intros they always had the ability to skip them. There was never an issue. What's the rush? Why charge people the same amount of money for a game, then strip down content? How can a group of humans sit around a table, and actually feel that this was a good decision? This is merely a slap in the face to loyal fans of both this game and the sport.

the opposition lines up are necessary feature, this surely has to be an oversight and not intentional part of the game ??

i really thought i clicked something wrong to miss the players walking out and line up ect

now it just feels like a mobile game which i guess is exactly what EA is going for

its so sad 🥲
