Match scenes doesn't have anything to do with intros, lineups, etc... This game is an arcade game now and it will stay that way.

Are you sure? They can call these scenes anything as they want. But we have fact: on previous consoles generation everything is OK with these scenes. Except nextgen like PS5/PC -> on these platforms nothing in common with real football: referee used police-like bodycam (which are never used in real matches, even in broadcast), and totally stupid pre-match scenes (yes, scenes). Which totally ruins the experience.

Probably they wanted to apply these changes to FUT only, but ocassionally make it everywhere.

And guys...

I going to reveal something about "next-gen" games. And why you should STAY on PS4:

13 years ago company named Rocksteady released their last normal project: Batman Arkham Knight. And in 2024 they're going to release new game about Batman. And they're totally lost side-by-side comparison even with that 13 years old game. Complete fail.

Again:13 years old (2011) vs 2024 game. For what you need these PS5? To run this degradation? Are you sure that stuff like "Hypermotion" cannot run on this PS4 console? Marketing.

I suspect that the same happened with EA with their latest "improvements" on next-gen. 

So, RIP normal games. Degradation. Total.

Just now checked FC 24 on PS5... Worst football ever. Even PS4 beat it simply with adequate atmosphere. 

Just try out FC24 on PS4 and then on PS5. Huge difference. Yes, graphics. But these scenes... Who in EA invented this? Who approved? Nightmare. 

Either copy existing scenes from PS4 or football lovers recommended to play on PS4. There are normal broadcast-like scenes.

Very strange.

My nephnew (14 yo) told me that he doesn't like FC 24. He usually play on FIFA series, but when they changed scenes, he stopped play. And that is reason why I now checking PS5.

Great idea, true "next-gen" when even childs stopped play in this, isn't?

Yes, he saw PS4 version. And now he wants PS4 back. 

Seems that your "next-gen" completely failed: starting from FC 24 and ending with new Batman which on unknown reason have PS3-like graphics 🙂

All scenes is OK on PS4 after an update.

I waiting if they fix that misunderstandings on next-gen or not. Because there are note, that soon title update #9 came to PS5/PC.

Stupid bum-bum, quick switch on players and back. That is on their opinion - FOOTBALL. 

I'm patiently waiting for the release of Euro 2024 to see how it's going to look like without intros and lineups. I can't imagine this big tournament without it but who knows it's ea sports fc and all strange things can happen with them 😂😂😂

With these referees scenes and without lineups? That is arcade, not football. Because football = match atmoshpere. And they didn't understand this simply fact. Developers seems never attended to any real match if they decided to put these scenes. 

PS5/PC versions are intended for kids which playing in FUT. 

If someone going to try offline Tournaments better warn them where are normal football. That is not PC/PS5 definitely.

I don’t think we will get pre match cutscenes in eafc 24 . Because literally no one is talking about getting them back. You can check ea fc Twitter / YouTube or Facebook. All of them are talking about ultimate team.

EA has made a decision to make this game to an arcade game. They are 0 interested in what the offline community may think of that.

And that is why they will never see any of my money ever again. So simple is that.

I’ve gone quiet on here lately..but I’m back. The reality of what EA has done is they have destroyed the offline mode to maximise profits from UT. The amount of bugs and glitches in career mode is actually astounding for a game that cost 100 bucks. To top it all off they still haven’t added back the intros and pre match line atmosphere which would probably have helped people over look the sheer disgrace that this game is. I’m praying a decent gaming company comes in a takes over this franchise and actually cares about creating a football game instead of a cash cow for the 12 year olds with Mummy’s credit card. DISGUSTING 🤮 

And secondly. How hard is it to make it a toggle in the settings so you can choose what intros you want? Everyone wins?

Madden's Presentation is Terrible - How to Fix It (youtube.com)

Even Madden fans have noticed the terrible presentations of their game. It looks like FC 24 is not the only EA game that has this flaw.

The guy in the video says "Sports games today feel more like a corporate product than a form of art" which I completely agree with.

I have started playing FIFA 17 again and it’s honestly better than this current EA offering.

How can a game get worse after 7 years and not better?

Have also heard a rumour about FIFA and 2K so hopefully that is true.

Finally UCL back. Hopefully we'll get it in next title update

No. There are the same mess intros without any lineups. Tell them that next gen is broken. I don't like that stupid intros. 

EA, please, show your developers at lest ONE european game. And ask them to compare with those which they make on next gen. Totally mess.

Good news:

rumors about FIFA from 2K Games. So, they probably will made normal pre-match intros definitely. If EA unable to do it 

I really hope FIFA and 2K work together to make more realistic game than this stupid game.

Have you ever played a NBA2K? I hope they won’t work with 2K! They riddle their single player career modes with in-game purchases. Almost everything you do as a player costs VC (Virtual Credit), leveling, cosmetics, move sets…. Everything.

Sure 2K and FIFA partnering up would give EA some much needed competition. But 2K would not be the great savior many here think they’d be.
