Yes, player do fall over each other at times but when you are putting bodies close to one another that can happen. The better players can manage this.
Infact the better players manage every aspect better. Some of it is on the player and not always the game.
If you can't defend, expect to lose.
If you don't score enough goals, expect to lose.
Yes. Passing can be a lottery sometimes. But equally passes can't be 100% accurate either. And rightly so.
Nothing should be perfect. Mistakes should be part of the game.
If the connection is that bad then can you post the score from the EA connection stats.
As for the animations everything makes sense and I know to always take that into account.
And as I usually say. Tens of thousands are playing the game and getting on fine with it. So that isn't EAs fault.
@blue166No, mistakes out of your control should not be part of a competitive game.
Passes should be accurate it's on your opponent to read them.
How do you defend good when the ai makes your player jog away from the threat despite me trying to move the player to the threat exactly?
Defenders falling over each other never used to be a thing, it's the recent entries that added that and it needs fixing.
Simply telling people to "manage" when the games ai farts is outright wrong, the developers should take the time to stop it happening.
I know you love seasons, I used to play seasons a lot, got to number 2 in the UK on PS2 once.
A lot of people enjoy the idea of squad building but EA make it a nightmare.
Going around basically telling people to stop leaving feedback like you do is about unconstructive as you can get.
And I'm not spending time making videos when I know it's not imput delay or lag, it's the coding/animations, I can't fix that on my end and I'm getting annoyed with been told it's my end.
Its pretty clear that EA making the need for Meta players higher and higher.
Some years ago i would have no problem what so ever with high press, constant press, better teams or whatsoever. NOT 1 single game. When i lost then i lost only to better players controlling the stick and thats fair.
But no many of the games lost is due to i cant trust my players doing what i input on the controller or that they want to take 2 extra touches because he is only rated 90 instead of 94. It happens even with the simplest passes" if difficult passes to get under control i would understand it " cant be controlled. i have to struggle with my players all damn game sometimes and it makes absolut no sence at all.
But yes i still play the game but that dont meen that im satisfied or happy with the gameplay or all the crap they put into it.
IMO the game gets worse every year and i think they should go back to the root of the game and start over.
Like a few years ago they had prefect playerswap system. NOW i have to struggle to get to controll my right player. What direction i put on my right stick makes no facking sence to whom the game changes it to.
But i have to say that a few things is better also.
In few words when i point with L stick a expect ball to go in that direction - but for my in 20-30% of cases it’s a lottery where the ball will end. When i command my player to run i don’t expect him to do God knows what untill he loses the ball because it’s take less time to being catch by opposition player then start running. When i shot on goal i don’t expect my other AI controlled player to stand close to goal, being hit by the ball resulting in offside. And so on. Of course one can say these things happen in real football too, but maybe i watch wrong matches because it’s far from reality. A girl 4,5 foot tall that outbody a gay like Sol Campbell. There are some moments where my opponents players gets through my defenders like through this air, like there weren’t even there. On the other way there are players from whom it’s almost impossibile to take the ball away no matter what i do. Do only thing to stop them from running often results in red card because there was literally nothing to do. Forgive me my English i am not a native speaker.
Well first off I don't tell people not to post. Posts like the game is rubbish this and blah blah that add nothing to the conversation. They are pointless posts.
So if I can take into account animations and play the game and you have been UK no.2 some years back how are you not reading them? The game is either smooth or not. Plenty of players are playing the game and get along fine with it. So it isn't just the game.
I never claim the game is perfect.
As for the other post. Playing against constant pressure is not fun and is not how the game should play. It is unrealistic and players not losing energy quick enough was never right. That should never return to the game.
I still play in plenty of games where the best player wins. Sure, robbery happens sometimes but that happens IRL. I have lost games 1-0 and I have hit the post, bar and had shots cleared off the line. Does it annoy me? Yes. But I move on knowing I had the opponent but just couldn't score in that game.
I see a lot of posts from the same people. It is a tiny portion of EAs customer base.
I dislike UT. The people I see complaining about UT being pay to win etc... and still play. I have watched UT reluctantly on Twitch and everything about it looks unrealistic. 100mph horrible looking same goal exploits over and over. Pace pace pace...
I like conversation about the game.
But posts claiming it is the worst game ever are totally silly and overreacting. Anyone with real gaming history and culture know there have been some really bad games. This is far from one of them.
