Will EA fix Player ratings in Pro Clubs?!

I know this has been a hot topic for the past few years with Defenders especially.  And with them going to the XP system, it made it a lot, lot worse.  Before, you could max out your points by 100 games and statistics would gradually get better over time.  Then, they went to the XP system where your ratings would dictate how much XP you got in a massive chunk.  Here lies the problem with this model...

See, before, you could play your actual position as a defender and still get at least a 8.0 player rating in the game by playing your position. Now?  Don't even count on it.  You can actually lose rating by playing your position.  Why is this?  A decent game now for a defender is actually getting a 6.5 - 6.8 rating by playing your actual position which is extremely unfair.  Especially if you have a very high offensive team composure where they constantly press the ball up field and the ball rarely goes past center line.  The game forces you to play out of position to get any type of decent rating.

For instance, you have a striker that sits out of bounds, drops back deep into their own box and playing aggressive and attacking the ball non stop, then calls for every, single, pass.  Then, they skill forever taking the ball up 10-15 yards for a majority of the game, and gets a lucky assist or maybe even a goal during the entire match.  Rating? a 9.0.  Meanwhile, you have that CB or Winger who stayed in position, drops back their spot because of the idiot doing everything wrong in the game.  The striker loses the ball no where near them and they counter attack and get a goal against you.  This happens 3 times in that game and you touch the ball 2-3 times and make 100% pass completion, get 2-3 tackles all at 100% completion and get 4 interceptions from the incompetent player.  Defenders end game rating? 6.2, if they are lucky.

Every year the game pushes more and more to catering Forwards and most attacking style midfielders and leaving the Def and Goalies further and further behind.  A forward can hit level 100 easily 100 games faster than a good defender ever will.  And to make matters even worse, as a Defender, you and be 6/6 on passes, have 7 tackles won, 0 tackles lost, have 1 interception and 2 blocks, 9 possessions won and a clearance and STILL only have a 7.7 rating.  I mean, you are playing a perfect game as a defender and can still barely break a 8.0 rating unless you get an assist from a corner, or maybe a goal from again, a corner.

So, is EA actually going to fix this or is Defending and Goalkeeping going to be completely bust all over again?  Not everyone wants to be that goal scorer or playmaker with 4 assist in a game.  There are genuine people who just want to play what they love and it is getting increasingly harder every year to stomach what has been happening.  And no, I am not a scrub player either.  I have been #1 on the Pro Club leaderboards for Defenders a few times on different platforms.  But when you have 250 games played and not even at level 75 and you come across a FWD who is absolutely garbage and is level 90+ with the same amount of games played and does everything I mentioned above and not get the same statistical dump down as a defender, it gets really discouraging.  When they make 20 passes in a game but only 12 of them find their man, they spent 60% of the time out of position, have more possessions lost than won and have 1 assist the entire game but they get a 8.0 rating when I play a perfect game to keep a clean sheet in the record book because this clown can't win their way through a cobweb that's on fire to save their life and get a 6.9 rating, it's trash.
