- @frantao27 do you know any solution for PS5?
I just measure the input delay with the
Input Overlay that you can enable in game and slow motion camera, and playing with cable, monitor with only 4ms response time, I get 200 milliseconds delay in squad battles, not even online (this is like playing with red bar all the time).
This is in ps5, where the game should be optimized at best, because is where the pro players play.
I used to be a pro player, but that 200 ms makes me mad, it's better to stop.
I am really good with reflexes, but there is no point using that with 200 milliseconds delay. Now its a guessing game, not a skill game anymore.
I guess this helped and removed massive input lag, but I still feel milisecond or second lag. Still, thanks for this
I talked to an advisor on chat about the input delay we are facing and I got this answer:
Siddharth (13.10.2023, 15:21:03): Thank you for sharing, I would like to let you know that this is a known issue that many players are facing, and our game team is working on to fix this issue as soon as possible, I request you to please wait till the team fix this issue.
I then stated my concern as I also had the same issue with FIFA 23, and it was never fixed.
Siddharth (13.10.2023, 15:25:17): Do not worry that problem will be fixed as it has been acknowledged by the game team.
Atleast now we know that they atleast have acknowledged the problem, and I guess we’ll just have to wait..
- @Maagray Yeah sure, and who will give us back all those games we lost or missed due to input lag? Im trying now to qualify for champs and input lag is big even when I applied all those steps someones shared here

The advisor couldn’t give me an estimate for when the fix will be deployed.
I’ve tried everything, so my last resort was to reach out on the chat since none of the community managers is responding on this matter anymore. Anyways, I just wanted to share the information and I think it’s a step in the right direction that EA actually acknowledging the issue. - @Maagray Yeah, thanks for that. Where you can chat with them?
- @mlaz1n I was unable to open a chat when I chose technical issue so I first talked to a guy in billing and account department. Then he transferred me to the technical department. First time I was successful getting through chat
- @Maagray Hopefully this advisor isn't talking out their * then, I'd love to be playing FC24 online but it just isn't any fun with this kind of input delay
