Re: How to fix "EA app is not installed and is required to play your game" EAS FC 24

Just something that may help you diagnose what is causing the problem. i have the same error, EA app is not installed, and i 'fixed' it just now by creating a new user account on my pc. the game runs fine on that new user account. obviously it's not a long term fix as you shouldn't need a new user

    @Aptedinh i have the same problem maybe that is the problem? we had 2 pc user profiles.. who knows...

    @Aptedinh0 I saw that one and tried it out. I really must be too dumb because I couldnt get the second user to work either. did it work for you?

    @CSC-Fyrrte i dont think that is the problem because I only had 1 profile when it started happening..

    this just happened to me this morning too. I've managed a fix. Just load up FIFA 23, close it, then run EA FC. (Make sure in the EA app under your profile settings, app background operation is turned off) I'm on pc, not sure if this will also make a difference but I've got it back to working again from doing this simple way. I've tried changing times and date on pc but that didn't work
