Close background applications and run the game again.

Hi,
im having the same problem after the last update. I use "Rewasd", its a app for change the buttons of the controller. Best app i ever seen. I cant use other. And now i was going to play and the anti cheat failed with the error above. The app is not even open but ok. Last week i came here and now imi here again. Thank you EA. I cant play your game.
i used that app for the last month and fc 24 worked lol. And i dont have that app open and it still not opening the game

I use DS4 windows and that is blocked so i cant use controler.
Same. I just launch the game and now its showing the error.
Does anyone has a fix to this? This is such a crap company.

Even with ds4 there's still a conflict, before this latest update everything was work fine.
Now you guys advertise fc25 pre-order how could we be encouraged to buy it while EA create problems like this???? Even worst your can't recognize our controllers without this softwares like ds4
My issue was that my controller mapping app called ds4windows was running. The initial error said "virtual controller" was the software conflict. I closed it, and the game loaded. Have done this multiple times, and each time the game loaded. Hope this helps!
it loads but the controller wont be working

- Run gpedit.msc
- Go to Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative - -- Templates > System > Device Guard
- Double click Turn on Virtualization Based Security
- Select Disabled
- Click OK
- A reboot might be required.
and make sure to close DS4Windows and remove it from startup item
its working for me - @Vexed_Rain_Cloud yep, the same for me, without DS4 windows my dualsense isn't working at all, it works by USB by it would be nice to connect dualsense by bluetooth
EA can blow my balls. They can’t tell an anti cheat system from a controller mapping app. EA you better pay for my ReWasd. I paid $29 twice for their app and your * stupid * * game Battlefield 2042 made me delete my ReWasd app just to play. Your * * game. You better pay my money of $58. Or I will file a lawsuit against your whole company in court *.
