“in progress evolution”

So i did an evolution at the start of the game, on a bronze card but i discarded it. I want to use that player now to use for my past and present but it says i have an evo of the player but hes a normal bronze rare, anyone got this problem and know a fix. Contacted EA but they ain’t doing anything.
