2 time the same player but a different card, can’t sell either

I got 88 CM Grimaldo from packs. Afterwatds i did the 89 sbc Grimaldo. I tried to remove the 88 from my team and put in the 89 but the game won’t let me and says i can’t perform that action… Furthermore i tried selling the 88 but i can’t do that either…

Can someone tell me how i can use my 89 rated?

@SirPuffyThe1sT You can't sell either because they are both untradeable items.

Try creating a new squad and see if 89 Grimaldo fits in, if so then delete your original squad (delete the squad not the players) using squad actions.
