@pesphill85 From my understanding, they're banning people for having had knowledge of what was to come and trying to profit from it. This is technically in violation of ToS and is most likely the reason for a ban.
Unfortunately, I don't know if there is a way for them to really know if people were exploiting leaked information and or if it was just pure coincidence.
That being said, I don't know if these bans are all fair. I am just giving my opinion based on what I know.
All I can offer is advice: Don't engage in illegal trading.

@Izzy_FUT_Dubs LOL so EA our Minority report now? I got banned for selling like 3 managers of a sbc coming out. The one EA themself announced. I just love all the EA partners on youtube running videos on upcoming leaks etc. But be honest it clearly not this though as EA algo is broken there is so many examples. Some people got banned for selling cards that where rare because of EVO's, some managers and some people banned for buying cards to use there EVO on. I am on a discord with 300+ people banned over the last two weeks. There is a thread on here with over 500 comments from people being banned. Where if anyone cared to read there is tons of diff examples. Im legally going after EA but I feel bad for all the people that will just take this on the chin. And I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I was a volunteer for a company that doesn't care about there clients.
- @kenkaniff6 Yeah, like I said. I wouldn't be able to tell you if these bans are fair or not. I've definitely heard the stories and quite frankly am a bit cautious about buying those meta Evo cards because I wouldn't want to be banned either!
I can only hope those people unjustly banned aren't banned for too long.Received the email from EA this morning saying their investigation has been done and the right decision was made and that I was selling coins. This is ridiculous. I'm not a trader and have not even had 1 million coins since launch. I simply took a gamble based on rumours of a cam evo. Bought 8 non rare golds for between 4 and 7k in case they met the criteria and went up in price.
If EA don't want people to make profit on the market, why do they allow mass traders to build up millions and post videos giving trading advice. I would possibly have made 10k profit maximum. I have played ut since 17 and never sold a coin or broke any rules. Feel totally let down by EA given the loyalty shown and hours I've spent playing the game.
- @pesphill85 If ea wanted to change something, they would have changed their approach to the market themselves a long time ago, and not invent reasons for blocking ordinary users. I like even more that a lot of YouTubers and streamers sell coins, make cohen sweepstakes, sell boosters on wl, sell bots to buy coins, but EA has not banned anyone from them all the time, I'm not talking about strikes on video.
