Auto selects wrong players in gameplay

Whenever I go into a match in ultimate team, my players don't react to the ball. I'll often press pass, then 2 seconds later my player will pass the ball in the wrong direction and the game selects the wrong player for me to control. 

When trying to win a header the game auto selects me to the wrong player and won't let me switch. This will happen on passes too.

This happens even in squad battles matches, the clips shows the game selecting the wrong player for me. Then when I attempted to win the header the player I control runs away, it won't let me switch to the player to win the header. When I cross the ball into the box, my players will run underneath the ball so I cannot win any headers.
