I’ve added the screenshots I get on console and mobile app.
Console: PS4
Connection: LAN.
Phone: iPhone XR
All other FC24 online game modes work for me (Clubs, Seasons).
I haven’t played FUT this year yet, it’s my first time trying to log in.
On console and mobile app I’ve been asked to verify myself via email and I did on both.
I’ve tried restarting game and console between attempts.

I am having the same issue.
Tried it on Xbox Series X and Series S.
On both consoles it says ' Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment'
I power cycled my Xbox and router multiple times and nothing seems to work.

- Clearing cache on ps4
- Re-installing the game - 1 year ago
Update:
✅ I can now log in to the FC24 Companion app
💡(I didn’t take any further steps, just waited 1 day)
❌ I still can not log in to Ultimate Team on the PS4- 1 year agoI’ve tried something a user on a different thread suggested, login to Kick-Off, back out and then go to Ultimate team. Didn’t work for me.

And it’s gone…
❌ Now I can’t login to the companion app again.
❕Also, on the Companion app, I tick “✅ Remember Me”, yet I need to input my email and password every time.
