Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment.
When I try to connect to Ultimate Team in EAFC24, I get the error message "Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment. You will be returned to the Main Menu." I have engaged with multiple help chats with EA Help about this issue and been told several things, including:
1. This is a known issue and our team is working as quickly as possible to resolve it. (This answer was given in October, November, December 2023 and January 2024 on four separate chats.) When I check all of the forums, message boards, Twitter feed, etc., I see no resolution to this. Removing Ada Hegerberg is not possible because I can't even access Ultimate Team to remove her from the squad.
2. This is an unknown issue and so they will report the issue as a new issue to the resolution team. (This answer was given in December 2023 and the new issue never showed up in the forums where I was instructed to look for updates.)
In both of these cases, the cases were closed without resolution - "No Fix."
Then I had a chat last week (early January 2024) and we tested the account to see if that was the issue, but it wasn't so the support staff said I needed to request my ISP unblock additional ports. I contacted my ISP and they needed more specific information about the ports. I contacted EA Help again and they gave me the port information, but when I contacted my ISP again, they said that all of those ports that EAFC24 uses are already open and unblocked. They directed me back to EA Help.
I contacted EA Help again today and was told the original response noted as #1 above. They gave me a link to another forum which is this platform. This crap storm of support has been a three-ring circus. Please, please, please help me contact someone who actually knows what they are doing and who can resolve the freaking issue. This is absolutely absurd.
I'm starting a new thread here because the other one about this same error message got sidetracked into the Ada Hegerberg issue, was marked as solved, and then never answered the original question. Please answer the original question. How do I resolve this specific error message? Platform is Xbox Series X.
