Crossplay Not Working Between Xbox Series X And Pc

I have recently switched from Xbox to Pc and have brought FC 24 off steam. My mate is still on his xbox series X and we are trying everything to get Xbox and Pc Crossplay to work. Here is the weird part. Me (On PC) can invite my mate (XSX) and he can join me no dramas. But when he goes to invite me, my username doesnt even show up in the friends list of people he can invite, we both have the Crossplay Enabled set to Yes. 

Anyone would could help would be very greatly appreciated.
