Sometimes it can take even 24 hours for your transaction to wrap up processing and for your points to appear, but if you don't see them after that time, we may need to investigate this for you.

I have had the same issue with my companion app. I waited 48 hours until I could chat with EA help.
Once I had a chat with them, all they told me is that they could do nothing about it other than 'help' me with a refund from Google play store.
So now I am waiting for a refund but it has already been a day and I got no messages.
Moreover, when I try to purchase the points from the In-game store, it gets stuck in an endless loading screen.
I think there is an issue between the app and the game right now. I think that my transaction is still being processed, therefore the in-game store keeps getting stuck.
when I try to buy new points.
I hope this insight helps in fixing this issue as it is very frustrating. I have been told to wait 24 hours numerous times, and when I did, I got no proper solution.
