Divisions in rivals

I thought in rivals in each division that when you go higher and higher it becomes harder ? Well since fifa 18 I've been stuck in division 10 or 9 some times rarely get in 8 bit basically I play my mates online and smash them 100% of the time and their in division 1 to 3 and am stuck in div 9, is there some sort of ban on my account cause this isn't fair I'm playing players that should be well in division 1 or elite in my eyes and am in division 9 its madness, every year this has happened and am sick of it wasting money to sit in division 9

    Everyone starts in division 10 so you will be playing pros right now. You will have to wait a month or so for divisions to settle.

    I have the same problem I'm not the best fifa player but I shouldn't be struggling to get out of division 8 ....the game is so unfair to the average Joe player all the objective you have yet you can't complete because you can't win a game ,the setup is pure bs ....the thing is we can sit and complain about it all we want EA WONT DO ANYTHING!!!!....Not while people will put hundreds of pounds in their pockets to get the best players on the game ,yet the rest of us who actually have jobs and families to feed have to suffer ,probably be the last ea game I get because I don't see why I should waste my hard earned cash every year just to be stressed out every feckin night !!!!!

    I am in Div8, 2 years ago I was playing Elite Divisions. I struggle to get my 3 wins let alone 7 wins. I came against a really good player in rivals earlier today so I messaged them after the game asking what Div they were in and they replied with Elite!! So why am I getting the match making of the Elite Div when im only in Div8?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

    1: becouse to many players dropped off, this game is dead but to rescue it a little bit they need to mix divisions.

    2: to keep those who haves good serverconnection happy, if they dont win games they not spend.

    Matchmaking in Division Rivals aims to find the best possible match by looking for opponents in neighboring Stages and Divisions while taking into account the player’s physical location when determining the FC Game Data Center that the match will be played on.

    Players in the Elite Division will matchmake only with other Elite Players based on Skill Rating and the player’s physical location.

    @hansumjohnJust ask youre opponents what division they play in and if you can follow them, you will find out pretty soon that players with superb serverconnection in higher divisions plays against bad serverplacement in lower division, why ?

    To keep the top spenders happy and that 80 % of players already left this game, this is how they keep selling packs to the few costumers Ea still have.
