Ea Servers ?

Let me undress the Ea servers, this is the biggest issue i got with Ea, and the problem is so much bigger than i ever thougt.

So iam working as a programmer and been doing that for 20 y, last year i bought Eafc for my kids, we all love football and why not buy a fun game to them, when i got the game we notice that it was full of bugs, it freeze, thete was delays, the gameplay was ( how do i put this nice ) awfule and it took like forever to find a match.

I asked the kids if they want me to change it to another game but i notice that we droppet the bill so we was more or less stuck with a game that didnt work and it didnt work for the first 6 month, so i took contact with Ea help service ( it took like forever to get hold of them ) i explained my issue with the game and the answear i got was that everything was my fault, my internet was bad, my Pc was bad, my Ps5 was bad etc etc.

Firat of all as I mention i working as a programmer, my internet is one of the best there is to get for money and my Pc is a monster computer, my Ps5 is connected to cat9 cables direct and iam never lower than 980 mbi and in other games iam at a stable ping between 5 - 10 never ever more.

EaFc is unplayeble becouse the servers cant match my speed and no wounder they cant do it iam living in Sweden and the game connects to German server and that makes my game slow and sluggish.

The game is playeble in one game, unplayble next, the gameplay behaves totally diffrent in every game, basicly you never know how this game behaving.

When people talking about a skilled based online game iam wounder what do you meen with that ? If you cant provide the same kind of connection in booth ends ? When iam playing and my opponents got good serverconnection the gameplay works but iam struggling to move Salah around and he is heavy like Titanic, meanwhile my opponents dribbles my whole team and my players dont react at all.

The most importend tool we got in online gaming is the servers forgot everythingelse, we all got the exact same settings, there is no magic settings that makes yours Salah ten times faster, stronger and youre gameplay working like a clock meanwhile mine dont work at all, this is not schients its all comes down to one thing and one thing only and that is that Ea servers are ( sorry to spell it out ) pure trash, the whole game is just a big mess and totally unplayble, iam far from alone i know i know, but i just needed to get this out og my chest.

    @xXEliteWPlayerXx You just can’t make peoples connection equal. This is why fps games have lag compensation. You can’t hit a button and ever have it register instantly on someone else’s game.

    The reasons most games did away with p2p is one player is the host. With servers the other persons connection won’t affect your game. Here is the explanation from the help page.

    EAS FC uses game data centers so that someone else’s connection doesn’t impact your own gameplay experience. The game data center handles the distribution of gameplay information to all players.

    The center collects inputs from your game at a set interval of time, then sends this information back to everyone else in a match. This happens at the same time for all players and is determined by their individual connections.

    For example, if one player is streaming 4K movies and trying to play on a weak Wi-Fi signal, their activities shouldn’t impact anyone else in that match. The game data center still sends the information at the same interval.

    A game data center acts as the host of the match in multiplayer matches.

    EAS FC will always try to connect you to online matches on your best game data center. Although that’s often the nearest one, this isn't always the case.

    Internet service providers (ISP) generally don’t send data from Point A to Point B directly. They route this data across locations, sometimes across the globe. This can be a physical networking infrastructure limitation of some ISPs or part of their business model. These decisions are ultimately handled by ISPs based on their unique needs and situations.

    In some cases, your connection to a game data center is the best connection available at the moment, even if it’s further away. Your connection can be routed elsewhere if there are internet issues impacting the route that your network traffic would normally take, or if one of our game data centers is experiencing technical problems.

    @RadioShaqsthe solution is in the matcmaking, match connection is all you need to do, its not so hard i promise, also match people against eatchother whos connects at the same servers.

    You guys messed this one up totally, look at Epic G för an example, that is the best matchmaking system and servers in the world, if my English was a little bit better i would go in more in details but ofcourse its possible to provide a fair and fun online game.

    If iam not misstaking you use Amazon Kinesis, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, and AWS Data Pipeline and if so maybe you should put servers where you decide to sell the game and the problem is pretty much solved. This is decent server but they are really bad when connect on distance.

    @xXEliteWPlayerXx They do match by connection. They have done multiple pitch notes that go into so much detail to explain how all this works. If you are be routed to a farther server it’s because of your isp. Again they go into massive detail explaining this stuff.

    @RadioShaqs I get all of that, and i truly understand how it all works i got 20 y behind me working with servers every singel day, the thing that amaze me is how diffrent yours servers behave and how you cant provide fair matchmaking contra servers 2024, so ofcourse Ea is on a much bigger scale that iam working at but the principes are the same.

    As i said take a look at Epic, Activ, Rock s or ubis who is even much bigger than Ea to provide perfect server connection and a matchmaking system thru servers that is booth fair and fun, ofcourse everything isnt always perfect but Ea fails big time and all you guys are doing is to excuse yourself or ban youre own players for speaking out.i dont get it, the problem isnt unfixeble its very much fixeble.

    @xXEliteWPlayerXx You say yours I don’t work for ea. I am just giving you eas examples. My experience is the matchmaking is fine. I never have delay.

    I try to get everyone to post examples to show ea. I know you have posted the video so you have delay. Now it comes down to who is at fault. Very few people show a problem with the game. This looks to be on your end. I wish hundreds of millions would post it and ea would fix it but it’s not the case.

    There have been people who have fixed their issues before so hopefully you can fix yours.

    I mean even fortnight valorant cs all explain this stuff the same as ea. so unless more have examples then it really is on your end.

    @RadioShaqs My issue is Ea Servers and how my game connects to them and that is somthing that is totally out of my hands, that is on Ea, but then again iam not the only one with this problem, everyone from Sweden got the same kind of problem.

    I didnt know that you didnt work for Ea, you answear my question and i thought this was a Ea help forum where Ea help their costumers like everyoneolse company got not a random dude that defends Ea and is some kind of middleman.

    Never mind dude then i understand that the game is almost unplayble for a whole country, good to know that we can forget about EaFc25 then lets hope Ufl can provide a better game and service then.

    For me, the biggest and most telling sign about how poor the servers are is what's currently happening at 6pm every day.

    New content drops, people log in to do packs, check objectives and evos etc... and can't do anything for at least an hour because the traffic can't handle it. Every year without fail this happens during big promos and then again right at the end of the year. They know its coming, they know it happens every time, but they don't care enough to actually do anything about it

    I'm sorry but when you're releasing content designed to be recycled and repeated in the menus, but you can't actually do them because you get booted from the servers every time you try, alongside daily play objectives, it's simply just not good enough

    @akashk8If you follow that link you can discuss it with ea. But yes I provided a lot of info that ea has discussed so can see why he was confused. Very few try to help others on here besides ea and a few others. Try helping the op and post a video to show ea the problems so they look into it.
