You might just have a point! Servers not only effect the speed but also the attacking ai and passing which is key to win a game. Oh well. Lets see what UFL got. From what i have seen it looks alright.
I can second a lot of what has been said previously.
EA FC still has issues that have been persisting across the yearly titles since around 2016. As they release every year they are building it upon broken code, which will only get worse.
EA FC is so much more about monetisation, than any of the previous ones. Guess FIFA being on board held EA within bounds. Now hell broke loose.
Main focus is on getting your money - fixing and improving the experience itself is secondary and not of interest.
And as the team working on EA FC doesn’t have an understanding of football and the rules, the in-game behaviour (running paths, ball drag, offside, tackles and fouls) are broken and non-sensical. Physics are broken as well.
At the moment EA FC is a “football-themed arcade brawler” and is a simplified simulation, rather than trying to be an actual football game. EFootball etc are doing a better job at the moment to be honest.
but as long as it’s a cash machine for the EA execs and shareholders nothing will change
@xHarlekinI guess you right, i got a question, its may be a naiv one but anyway, you mention a broken code, well i heard about that way back almost so i forgot until you throw out a reminder ? As i working as a programmer myself i find this very intresting, do you have any idea how it look like ? Is it a code from earlier Fifa or some kind of side project ?
Also if the game is based on a broken code this all makes much more sense to me.
Now this things i didnt now about at all, shouldent the game have a warningslabel that you buy it on own risk ? I meen mostly of us buying a football game that is suppose to work and if not we as costumers should get the help we need to make it work or get our money back ?
